Sawan Kirpal Ruhani Mission (known as Science of Spirituality outside India) is a global, non-profit organisation dedicated to love, unity, peace and service to the humanity. It's currently headed by His Holiness Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj.

Sawan Kirpal Ruhani Mission was established in 1976 by Dayal Purush Sant Darshan Singh Ji Maharaj to spread the spiritual teachings of Hazur Baba Sawan Singh Ji Maharaj and Param Sant Kirpal Singh Ji Maharaj.

• The current spiritual head of Sawan Kirpal Ruhani Mission, India, and Science of Spirituality, USA, His Holiness Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj has been recognized and celebrated internationally for His tireless efforts in spreading inner and outer peace throughout the world. Amongst these reputable international awards are included 5 honorary doctorates from world-renowned institutions.

• Born in India, Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj is an acclaimed scientist, who possesses deep knowledge and experience of both the spiritual and scientific fields. After completing His B.Tech degree from IIT Madras, He earned His M.Tech degree from the US, and then had a distinguished 20-year career in the field of science and communication. Having received extensive training and experience in both spirituality and science, He has succeeded in effectively presenting the age-old spiritual teachings in an easy and clear manner.

• Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj has been travelling tirelessly throughout the world for the past three decades, crisscrossing the globe for the sole purpose of helping people learn meditation. He visited the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, on February 29, 2020 and gave an inspirational talk titled 'Balance Your Life through Meditation' to hundreds of students and faculty members. During his visit to the United Nations on May 2, 2016, Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj addressed the members of the UN on the title of his recently released book, Meditation as Medication for the Soul.

• On July 27, 2018, Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj inaugurated the new iconic Science of Spirituality International Meditation Center in Lisle, Illinois, USA, which will serve as a beacon to millions of spiritual seekers in the West,guiding them further along on the path to attaining inner and outer peace as well as spiritual enlightenment.

• Sawan Kirpal Ruhani Mission has more than 3000 centers in 53 countries of the world, and provides opportunity to people all around the globe to attain peace, happiness, and spiritual fulfillment by following the path of positive mysticism. Regular spiritual discourses and meditation camps are held at all centers of the Mission.

• Sawan Kirpal Ruhani Mission organizes many international spiritual and human unity conferences annually. These conferences provide a common platform to religious, social, and spiritual leaders so that they can discuss important and relevant issues in a mutually respectful and understanding environment.

• Service to humanity is one of the core principles of Sawan Kirpal Ruhani Mission. It provides medical and financial aid to the victims of natural disasters around the world. In order to assist and uplift the economically backward sections of the society, Sawan Kirpal Ruhani Mission has established 103 ‘Sant Rajinder Silai Kendra’, so that destitute women can be given training related to sewing, embroidery, and other useful art and craft.

• In addition, Sawan Kirpal Ruhani Mission has established ‘Sant Rajinder Singh Senior Citizens Welfare Centre’ in about 70 cities of India, which provide medical, emotional, and other types of assistance to the elderly members of the society.

• Sawan Kirpal Ruhani Mission frequently distributes free wheelchairs, crutches, sewing machines, etc. to help the disabled and the needy. It also distributes clothes to the needy on a regular basis. Mission volunteers frequently visit elderly homes and jails to spread the spiritual teachings of Sant Mat in these places.

• Sawan Kirpal Ruhani Mission also has free allopathic, homeopathic, and ayurvedic clinics. From time to time, Mission organizes Free Eye Check-up Camps, during which free spectacles are distributed and free eye cataract operations are arranged for those who need them.

• Sawan Kirpal Ruhani Mission regularly organizes more than 700 Blood Donation Camps annually in association with the Red Cross Society. In addition, Mission also organizes more than 300 Medical Check-up Camps annually for people of all age-groups.

• Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj has established ‘Darshan Education Foundation’, which has 22 Darshan Academy schools in India and abroad. These schools integrate meditation and spirituality within the scope of traditional curriculum.

• The publication department of Sawan Kirpal Ruhani Mission distributes books as well as audio and video CDs and DVDs on topics related to spirituality. Mission literature is available in 53 languages of the world, including Hindi and English. Some of the latest books written by Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj are – ‘Spark of the Divine’, ‘Spiritual Pearls’, ‘Inner and Outer Peace through Meditation’, ‘Empowering Your Soul through Meditation’, ‘Meditation as Medication for the Soul’, and ‘Abode of the Beloved’. In addition, Maharaj Ji’s audio and video talks can be listened, watched, and downloaded from the website www.jyotimeditation.org.

• Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj’s enlightening and soul-uplifting articles are published in leading newspapers in India and on Speaking Tree (India’s spiritual networking website) on a regular basis. Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj’s spiritual talk is telecast on the Aastha channel at 8.20 am from Monday to Saturday.
